The Bradmatic 2AX units have found their place in all types of machine shops around the world. Using the customers own lathes to adapt to, it can run large or small production or protoytype runs and with it capability of holding .0002 on bores and turns, it virtually can eliminate honing and grinding.
The Bradmatic 2AX air slide unit mounts directly to any Hardinge DSM or HSL style lathe dovetail style lathe bed. The slide is manufactured from solid cast iron material and is rugged enough to machine even inconel and titanium. Runs entirely on 80 pounds of shop air. Gang style tooling allows multiple machining processes to occur in one operation.
Tooling for the Bradmatic is standard chucker and production slide tool holders.
